what your doing is not only great for you body but for your mind and spirit also! Most people who are addicted to sucking on little tobacco filled cotton tipped dicks don't even have the courage to attempt quitting. It's probably worse than smoking crack, but since it's available in every store that sells water or pop, society doesn't see it as a lethal drug. Your doing Good !!
heh, my neighbours are quitting. they have a big sign up on their front door reminding people not to smoke in the house. hehehe, gotta love new years resolutions! ps, quit smoking, it's a gov cash crop and it'll kill ya! breath clean air, you lungs will thank you.
well I made it. I know its stupid but I've never made it 3 days before. I just want to make it a week. thats my goal. A week is easier to grasp than forever I wanna smoke. But I haven't smoked. 4 more days
I have not smoked a cigg since November 19, 2004 and it feels wonderful... one day i just decided to quit..and i did...haven't touched one since...no patches no nothing..just sheer will power congrats to you i hope you do not ever start again..it's a silly thing to do..
i'm almost at my 4 year quit date! wishing you all clean lungs and lots of well oxygenated red blood cells in the new year!!
That's the way to do it! One day I just got sick of smoking, and decided to quit... I just didn't smoke again, no patches or anything...
That's definitely good! After the first week, it will be a lot easier... The first few days are the hardest... Just keep going, and it will work out...
whatever I want a fucking cigarette KC: What do you mean you're not happy not smoking? and please tell me that you are kidding about still wanting one 6 weeks after you quit THIS SHIT IS UPSETTING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm into about two weeks on this latest attempt to quit. Longest was about a year. Another couple weeks, I loose the smoker's hack, and get my wind back. Then I'll be able to do big 'ol bong rips again, YEAH! The hardest part is going to a bar. Bellying up to the bar and ordering a beer without lighting up is like...commiting some unnatural act. I cheat sometimes, though. When I have accomplished some really worthwhile task, or am at my maximum stress level, I'll smoke a cigar.
Not feeling great but I made it my fourth day without a cigarette......hot damn! I just may make it. I might become a non-smoker
How are you doing today Missfontella? Today is my 2nd day not smoking. My husband quit too. Yesterday was fairly easy. Today feels like it might be a challenge. I'm going to get on my treadmill in a lil' while. Maybe that will help the tightness in my chest. I do have nicorette gum. I didn't have any yesterday and I am going to try and not have any today. Try finding an outlet for your "energies" like exercising or stretches.
alright peanuts! you can do it! it's a great help to have a plan in place for when the cravings hit. exercise is a wonderful outlet. :d
