Lately, My husband and I have been having problems having sex. Neither one of us ever feel up to it and we have lost complete attraction to one another. When I look at him I feel disgusted. My friends recommended for me to try <edit> and <edit> from <edit> and I am thinking about giving it a shot. What do you think?
I think you should avoid pharmaceuticals and find out WHY you're no longer attracted to each other. Then work on that.
:iagree: Try figuring out why you are disgusted when you look at him. Is it physical or mental. Go from there. Work on your relationship and the sex will come naturally.
Ah, the D word. I think one of our society's biggest current flaws, is the quickness to replace things rather than trying to fix them. Relationships included.
It's like owning a DVD. When it's there in front of you everyday sometimes you just don't feel like putting it in.
And when trying to work out why you are no longer attracted to each other list every possible explanation......except having to come home look at the same damn person, every damn day, day in day out, doing the same damn things, saying the same damn shit. So every possible explanation except of course marriage itself
I know it's not for everyone but Cosplaying is always a little fun. It sounds here like there is something a bit deeper than 'not having sex as much' though. If you are completely disgusted by him, then maybe there's something between you guys that you can't let go? or possibly the physical attraction has dissipated completely, then maybe you need to remember where your mental attraction stemmed from and try to find a new attraction for him. Not everyone stays beautiful forever! Best of luck and hope it works out for you.
Why don't you try bringing a third person into the bedroom? it might help spice things up and regain your attraction towards one another. if not, well, you could always become polyamorous.
I started thinking of a thread I once saw where people used music to define their sex lives. I ended up with Michael Jackson's "Beat It". How depressing.
