I honestly don't know what to say - I'm just kind of stunned. 80% of blacks in your town are "ghetto niggars"? There's a lot more than a little resentment involved here.
You may have killed this thread - honestly, I am dumbfounded - which is pretty amazing since I was raised in Alabama and Mississippi.
Is it a genetic thing to you - or something in the water - or what?

 

80% for "ghetto N*****s" may be slightly exaggerating, but then again, People can be ghetto and not "N*****S" . I never said they were all n*****s I just said they were ghetto, which really isnt a really an exaggeration, my from standpoint.

Take my neighbor for example. He is a black guy. Very Very nice chat with him often, but then you find out, when his house is being build he tells the builder he only wants black people to work on his house? Now thats not racist? Oh yes it is, but if a white person were to do that, it would be on the national news!

Like I said I am from NY and never experienced any of this. I grew up with black people, and every one was perfectly normal. All of us "kids" expected the same stuff, everyone had the same rules, etc etc, but since I have moved down here, many African Americans give the impression that they are entitled to something, or that they have the right to do what ever they want. I never got the impression from the black people I knew in NY. Never.

I work with perfectly normal respectable black people, some of whom who grew up in a relatively normal household, some who grew up in the "ghetto" all of which are perfectly normal to me.

 

Unlike Tah161 who has come to reluctantly accept that a full 20% of blacks in her town aren’t likely to rob or molest her

Most of the 'attitudes' in this thread aren't racial problems at all... they're social. Things are definitely moving forward, but they're not moving forward fast enough for some people-- I'm not sure if it is possible for things to move forward fast enough for everyone.

I don't even know if it's possible for two different races to come to a point where they completely trust each other and can see across the division... but that doesn't mean we can't try.

There sure does seem to be a lot of pent up racial tension here.

Although I live in an area essentially devoid of black people (and the handful that do live here are the same middle class that everyone else is), we see the same kind of ethnic tensions between whites and First nations people. And when the subject does come up in conversation, it brings out the worst in people.

 

Color is just color...theres bad behavior in all ethnic groups. The kids in the Theatre hitting the op in the back of the head with coins wernt doing that because they are black, more like because they needed to be tought how to act in public !
My daddy told me from the time I started school that trash comes in all colors.

 

Wouldnt it be a trip if you was blind....so you couldnt see what color the person was that was acting in such a way towards you ?

Other than just being a rant - I'm looking for the bottom of this hole WaxAngelWings is looking down into.

Is it a racist thing as in Blacks are genetically inferior to Caucasians. They are naturally less intelligent, more violent and less responsible. An Aryan Nation thing in which Wax Angel is inherently "better" than blacks?

Let's suppose that blacks are the real racist for a minute. Is it a pretty thing? Is it a kind thing? Is it a loving thing? Does it bring peace within? Does it accomplish anything productive? Does it make them better people?

Then why would you want to be like them???

I am 62 years old and when hate and resentment wells up in me I have found that it is more productive to look inside me - not at "them".

 

I am not racist either. I have a few African and Mexican friends, but a majority of Mexicans at school are jackasses. They can say anything they want and do whatever they want to Caucasians. But if a Caucasian says or does something to them, they get in trouble and or called racist. Why is this. Because we live in a double standard country. It's not fair, but life isn't fair.

As a Black male, I find it highly unfortunate that some blacks choose to conduct themselves so shamefully. Wow! just as I was preparing to write this, I am sitting outside the library using wifi and a black guy rode past on a bike rapping loudly and being very disruptive in the early hours! Shameful! Why not act in a dignified fashion? I especially despise and look down on the blacks who act uncivilized and shamefully because I along with the other proper Blacks are thrown into the same nasty barrel as those individuals. Believe me, you are not alone in disliking the misguided people that you speak of. All of the Blacks that I grew up around have Doctorates (my father), Masters, etc. so I learned the right kind of "Blackness". Unfortunately, others emulate the wrong people to feel a sense of "blackness". I hold dear and admire the blacks who take pride in, and endear the principles that our fathers fought very hard for. You should listen to Bill Cosby talk about the irresponsible blacks of my generation, and you will understand that whites are not the only ones sick of their heathenry. Of course black heathenry is no better or worse than any other race's heathenry, but I think you were talking about Blacks in particular.

In a speech class we had to give mock award speeches, and one of the only other blacks in the class gave a speech and handed me a pack of oreo cookies because I don't act like a buffoon, and I speak properly. At the time the joke flew over my head, but a couple years later I found out that being called an oreo by another black person is supposed to be an insult meaning Black on the outside, and white on the inside. But hey, I was born and raised in Iowa, and we are all products of our environments.

It is usually the black people that cause problems,or spanish. I agree that black people act racist as hell towards me. At school the black kids are fucking asshole but the white kids are nice. Ive had some nice black friends but about 99% of the black people are mean. Here is a video of a black asshole trying to steal a guys bike infront of him,then he threatens to beat the man up.
