My problem with hell.

The earth, hell and heaven come under the plane of materialism (Pravrutti) only. The punishment on the earth and the punishment in the hell differ just by the areas present in the same realm of Pravrutti. It is just the difference between a jail in India and a jail in Andaman Islands in the olden days. Therefore, the postponed sin along with the interest can be met with punishment in the hell or in the next birth. It is one and the same. The serious deeds good or bad will yield results in this birth it self (Atyutkataih Papa Punyaiah Ihaiva Phalamashnute..).

The place and time have no significance. Only the quality and quantity of the nature (good or bad) of a deed and its subsequent fruit destined by the constitution of God are important. As the postponement increases, the interest also increases. You will receive the principle along with the interest in any online branch of the divine bank existing on this earth or in the upper world. Actually the deeds are inert actions and do not follow the soul. Only the essence of the deed which is alive in the form of quality (Guna or Samskara) follows the soul and from the color and intensity of the quality, results are decided by the divine computer called Yama for bad deeds and Indra for good deeds.

Kalabhairava is the over all in-charge of super vision in implementing the results (Karanam Guna Samgosya…Gita). Sattvam is white, Rajas is red and Tamas is black. Therefore, the internal intention (Sankalpa) of the mind which is made of these three qualities decides good and bad of a deed and not the inert subsequent action. The cycle of deeds and its administration is simplified based on the specific quality and its quantity. This is the simplified picture of the system of deeds, which is followed by the judge in the final enquiry. Of course, the total network of deeds with all the minute details also exists inside the system, which can be referred if necessary (Gahana Karmanogatih…).

I just don't get it. I've met other forumers who do similar cut-and-paste stuff and never offer any context for what they've said. What's the appeal of doing that?

Hell was not necessary for the good Christian, but something like ultimate evil could be necessary.

Anyway the main point. Param is considerably, Or was considerably Good Suffering. La Place was good suffering, but Voltaire was not good suffering. For that matter neither was Rousseau.


LaPlace you see was a theistic believer in Human Nature who considered the eternity of Hell an illusion.

Based on the people I have known and encounter who profess to have "salvation" and are going to a heaven. It would be like hell being with their spirits or whatever goes there for eternity.

Could you imagine eternity with Pat Robinson. I would be banashed from any heaven where he was for trying to choke whatever existance he had there.

So I guess you could say one persons heaven is another persons hell.

 

funny thing you mention him but in the bible its against fortune tellers..... well Pat goes to the mountains every yr and "talks" to god and comes back and talks about whats to come in the future.

Anybody That Devoted to Money and Power in Politics while at the same time claiming to serve God, well, I highly question their authenticity. Tho I don't spend any great amount of time nay-saying them
I really do try to live my life as best as I can, and as free of sin as I can be...that being said, I don't agree with Many Things that Pat Robertson and others that represent the Southern Baptist Association proclaim to be wisdom straight from the mouth of God. sheesh I didn't mean to get into all of that. but still...it's people like that that give being a "christian" a bad name.

I have dial up.
I have tried to watch just small clips; Less than 1 minute. It has literally taken as long as 30 minutes total to wind up being able to watch a 45 sec clip, AND I've "lost" connection/been kicked offline to blue screen a few times to where I'm not even going to pretend to myself that I can watch a youtube video. cause I can't
Is this a video of what Pat prophesizes? bleh... if it is, it is best I can't watch.
