When I was 16, I was given a bowler hat from a friend who traveled around the world wearing it. It was over 100 years old and full of holes. I patched it up. I had people offer me $100's of dollars for it so I started patching bowlers 20 years ago and selling them. I plan to start doing that again. When I was 17 an ex fire eating Carney friend got tired of me wearing a huge old ugly coat. He gave me an old nuns cape he found at a free store. I patched it up and I wore the cape and hat all over Minneapolis for 10 years before I moved. The Fairy and the Caterpillar are a form of stump work and needle lace combined.
