Blimey. In this country, if the case is a load of bollocks it won't go anywhere near court. There's nothing to gain from it. People wouldn't dream of taking a business to court unless they felt they had just cause. And no barefooter over here would be stupid enough to think that a shop is at fault if they're not careful enough to look after their feet when they go in barefoot. Myself I dont' want places to have to go to extra trouble because they've got barefoot customers. If I can handle walking around a town littered with broken glass and what have you why should I have any trouble in indoor premises which are kept tidy etc etc. Also I'm pretty sure that in this country if you lose a court case you pay everything.
