I've been into Abercrombie a few times. Never got any attitude thankfully. I've never bought anything from there though. I do have a pair of "active" pants from there, but they're actually my little sister's. We are about the same size. I borrowed them from her goodness knows how long ago. She forgot I had them, and well, I figure she owes me anyway from the times she's borrowed some of my absolute favorite things and ruined them! Hehehe, I'm nearly 28, she'll be 19 soon, and we still borrow one another's clothes.
I agree with some of the arguments....I DO feel very self conscience and a bit nervous when I'm in Hollister or Abercrombie, so I dont shop at either very often at all (I only have a couple Hollister shirts, and only one Abercrombie polo)....But not all stores are like that. I've always found Aeropostale and The Buckle to be especially friendly, and their stores are very bright and open as well, so you don't feel so damn closed in, and there isnt music blasting in your ears. I HATE that. But yea, my friend and I used to go into The Buckle here so much, that the employees got to know her and I, and would always have a smile on, and greet us by our names. Most of the time we would never buy anything, but they were always friendly regardless.
..and all this talk of the mall makes me really want to go badly...but no one else will go with me, and I would feel too weird shopping by myself...
Yea, but I'm a guy. Guys don't normally like shopping at all, so its really weird to others if a guy is just walking around a mall by himself shopping...
yea, i agree. i don't like shopping alone. once in a store, i can go off on my own, but a whole shopping trip by myself isn't fun
Yes, she'll be 19 in September. Funny thing is, we've had so many people ask us is we're twins when we're out somewhere together. I mean yes, you can tell we're sisters, but twins? No, I don't think we look like twins at all.
I have a rule. I don't take anyone with me when I go clothes shopping. Why? Because I'd feel horrible for the person going with me, because I take freaking FOR-EV-ER. I can't make up my mind, I go to this store, that store, try this on, that on. Walk out, go somewhere else, come back, repeat cycle over. And over. And over. So the only way for me to shop for clothes is alone. That way I don't feel bad for how long I'm taking, and I don't bore my shopping buddy to tears.
im the same way when it comes to shopping for clothes but i hate going alone. the best thing for me to do is go with a friend who is the same way as me so we wont get annoyed with each other
