Hello everyone, first of all I want to apologize because I don't know if this is the right place to write this. But any help or opinion is appreciated. Months ago I bought my oculus and started using them to play games. But recently I have discovered adult content (porn) in VR. I think I've developed some kind of addiction. At the beginning I only entered pages like pornhub (streaming videos) or (real girls) But now I am looking for more and more quality content, including live vr webcams. I'm scared this could turn into a more serious addiction. Has anyone been in the same situation and can give me some advice please. Thanks! Paola.
I've never experienced VR anything. I'm guessing it as close as you can get to act being in the same room with others having sex. Watching porn can become an addiction, so being "virtually" in the same room would be a bit more addictive.
As well I suspect it will distort many views of what sex is. Thinking, from some threads I have read before. Some are experiments and fun times, some seem to be trends
The advancements in the way sex is presented has changed many a lifestyle. Beginning with peep shows and going through 8mm home movies to VHS/Beta and onto internet streaming has brought porn to the masses. With the display of different scenarios available for sating ones libido people have ventured into encounters they normally wouldn't have thought of years ago. With virtual reality it's almost like being there except it is still only visual and aural stimulation. There is no stimulation of other senses as in touch, taste, or smell. With that VR will only further the education of what is possible sexually. People will discover different pleasures that are available and even though VR takes porn to another level, we will set out to experience that pleasure with real life encounters. VR will become another vehicle for people to become addicted to sex. Many people are addicted to porn watching. Then there are those who are addicted to things sexual beyond the watching of porn. For now I submit the OP has developed a fetish for VR porn. If it becomes to the point the OP, or anyone else, cannot function in their daily lives it can morph into an addiction. Sex addiction isn't much different that a persons response to smoking, drugs, gambling, or any other stimuli that takes control of their lives. The Ocula
The Oculus is only a way to further the presentation of sexual scenarios. It's how a person reacts to those scenarios the determines if they become addicted or not.
My last gaming system was an Atari! Over the years being a private pilot, I have enjoyed and actually helps my skills on a flight simulator on my PC. This year I jumped onto the Xbox series x and was impressed that it was not just for games. I ran into a young man playing with his new Oculus VR and shared with me all the things you can do on it including his other new toy between his legs (him being 11) I was oooing and Awwwing away at the games and google earth and Netflix and well so much more he changed the app to another with a grin "check this out" I was now in a room watching a couple having sex totally nude just like the others the picture quality the ability to see all around you! I ended up buying one. The porn was great I did check it out but honestly porn is just so boaring to me. The VR certainly made it interesting but honestly after buying it I spend 90% of the time exploring a museum or watching a movie! The VR is what's addicting NOT the porn at all! I highly recommend it to everyone from 1 to 100 it gets you up and moving and is absolutely amazing! Now back to your porn addiction. I grew up nudist and while I really enjoy sex and masturbating, I find porn fake unrealistic expectations that's a turn off not a turn on. I hope you get control over it and try nudism you will find it to be freedom and acceptance that will help you in your over sexualization by making it your norm. Find someone you can hang out with that maybe someday you can be accountable to. Life is way too short.
