I wouldn't deliver any congratulations in either case- you OR Gravity.. I was responding to the question of what would have the best comedic effect. Pranking an innocent person would not be funny but if this is in fact a cheating husband then it's funny. Frankly I agree that setting up a fake profile isn't the nicest of deeds but I responded on the premise that the deed was already done and my approval of that matter was moot.

Samhain, clearly we are on opposite ends of this argument; I see and respect your opinion. There's no real purpose in continuing this discussion as it is clear that regardless of our points of view this is bringing some very bad energy here. Your friendship is far more important than furthering any point I might have here so I'm respectfully bowing out of this discussion and as far as I'm concerned the thread has no purpose here apart from stirring up negativity and divisions.

Most of the people that perverted justice dealt with got attended too pretty quickly. I agree that a couple of dudes punking some unsuspecting person into talking with a girl he shouldn't be talking too, could be bad. But here in the states, groups like Perverted justice have teamed up with NBC news, and filmed some people red handed trying to hook up with under aged kids.

 

It's all good... not interested in creating upset and I saw that my posts here were doing just that. The argument wasn't a question of right or wrong and there's no payoff in the hypothetical situation of winning you to my side of the argument- something that clearly isn't going to happen.

Frankly, the whole pranking on someone is not a universal sense of humor thing and it's apparent you do not see any anything funny in my suggestion so there's no way my side of the debate is going to hold water as following my suggestion is most admittedly "not nice"!

This is a very valid point you made and is a good note to close the "debate" on.

 

you can have no idea the number of people that haven't been caught out and just got angry, or got turned on after a couple of contacts on the web and went out to have their needs met.
argueing that this is a good way of catching people is not valid, because you will only see the postive figures not anything negative, you have no idea what the pay off is for people reasurring the public that they are doing a good job
