Hi everyone. I/m Dimitris, and I'm rather new to this forum, but I wanted to share my international debut as a songwritter with you and maybe get some comments, suggestions, and critique. It's called "The show went on", it's gerne has been described as "progressive pop" by some of our first listeners, and it's inspired by Queen's emblematic "The show must go on". Music and lyrics are mine, and G. Paloumpis [cover pic] is the featured lead vocalist. Hope you enjoy, and please share your thoughts. All the best! The show went on! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NdC0Ila2Dqs
yup. it needs a little passion in his voice. a certain cry. anywho, for reference to what im talking about listen to elton john, john Lennon, and Prince top hits
I can't wait to do the music/vocal end on my songs. Lyrics are done, 15 songs. Only one cover song, of Elton John's "I'm Still Standing". It has meaning for me. Not sure if I'm going to tune in C# or Drop C. Getting anxious though, my first recording.
Always good to hear New, Young Singers sharing their music - away from the Pop idol, X-factor type TV formula
Hi everyone thanks for the replies... Sorry I didn't reply all this time. (Either I was away for too long or the forum was down for periods of time?) Anyway... Happy new year!!!
Solid. Better than I expected. Not something I would buy but if it was on a cd I owned I wouldn't skip it. It reminds me of a song in a movie when they do a thoughtful montage.
