My First Girlfriend was a Barefooter

My first love. And we both were barefoot most of the time. If we were not at work, we were barefoot.

That spoiled me. Subsequent relationship had me as the barefoot guy in public while she wore shoes. Crazy to get used to. One girlfriend insisted that I had to start wearing shoes to date her. I broke up with her.

Yes, my first girlfriend’s name really was KAREN. But long before that given name was sullied in the court of meme opinion.

You are truly lucky to have experienced that at all. I feel that generally women are more comfortable being barefoot than men, so you would expect there are more fish in the sea.
