my first barefootness!

Once you get over the first time (or the first time each season), it seems really ok. I am looking forward to the return of warmth cause if I don't have a job I am throwing the shoes out again. This time, instead of 70 days, I can go for hopefully 8 months!!!!

it is true that going barefoot for the first time of the season is difficult. for me even dollar general is tough, and i'm usually confident at dg. I remember my first barefooting (as a barefooter) was at wal mart. I drove to a town close to where I live so that I could leave my shoes at home leaving me with no backup. i was wearing semi baggy pants that somewhat covered my feet. i just felt free, but i was SO nervous!

When I had an office job, I had a tradition that I'd stop at a coffee shop every Friday morning on the way to work for a decent cup of java (versus the free office swill) to celebrate the end of another work week. I decided to maintain the tradition from home. After several weeks of running upstairs to grab my flip-flops before heading out, I decided to just go barefoot. I loved being barefoot, and decided to boldly go without shoes for the short walk from the parking lot, inside to the counter, and back.

What a coincidence--my first time to venture barefoot in public was at a local Starbucks. :coffee: I live near three of them and have gone barefoot to each one with no problems whatsoever.
