don't crochet you'll go crazy trying to get them looking neat and ruin the texture of them forever and don't backcomb because you really don't need to, you can just twist your hair and it will go the neater you try and make them now the uglier they will turn out and the sooner you'll chop them off
I'm Afraid He's Not, I Know It's Hard To Believe, In This Modern Day And Age, But He Really Is That Dumb.... But We Still Love And Support Him As Best We Can Under The Circumstances.... Cheers Glen.
Maybe he read it as "Plates" It's one of those words you hear a lot but don't often see written down!
Stop Making Excuses For Him, We All Know The Bottom Line.......... "He's As Thick As A House Brick"... But We Still Love And Support Him As Best We Can Under The Circumstances... Cheers Glen.
Laugh Out Loud. PS: I wrote the above out in full just to avoid any confusion on Ahmad Rashad's part!:rofl::rofl:
Jimbo, your the fuckin man. The rest of you fuckers are so funny I don't even know what to do with myself.
It's not that stupid is it? I don't know the difference between plaites or plates or whatever it is, too braids or any of those.
I promised you guys some pics of my head before I started growing my hair. This is the only one I could find...
and this is where I stand ATM... I took these pics a few minutes ago. Since my last picture update, when I had the plaits in, I just took them out of the plaits and then my hair was crinkled up quite nice. So all I did was take two crinkles at a time and twisted them clockwise. They turned out pretty good so I thought I'd keep them like that and see what happens. After the first night after going to sleep with them like that most of them came out of the twisties so I redid them and then went out and got me a skull cap thing to sleep in. Ever since then they seem to be holding their shape. I need to keep on twisting them from time to time but it seems like they are staying like this for longer periods of time now the longer I keep them twisted. Holding thumbs that they keep their form and start doing something in the next couple of months.:willy_nilly:
I did my first BC wash today. I have to say that I got way more than I bargained for!!! My hair feels SO MUCH lighter all of a sudden. Also, I've been a bit worried about them taking too long to do anything but after they dried from the BC wash I couldnt get my fingers to go all the way through my hair from root to tip. They are definitely doing something inside the locks.:2thumbsup::2thumbsup::2thumbsup: I'll update with more pics toward the end of Jan. PS: I did the BC wash but didnt have ACV in the house and didnt wanna run to the shops to get some. Does is matter at all that I just did the BC wash without the ACV rinse?
Nope it don't matter. Washing with staight up baking soda (diluted in some water of course) is where it's at. Simple is better... But of course, give the ACVs a try if it tickles your fancy :cheers2:
No, I have never rinsed afterwards with ACV after using bicarb. Usually I just wash with bicarb, sometimes adding tea tree oil and sea salt to it, depending on what I feel like doing. I just ACV my dreads about once or twice a month. ACV is a conditioner so may unravel new dreads more than washing with other stuff. I'm not saying don't use it though. Try it if you want, see what works for you.
