Hmmmm, summer, summer....it sounds kinda familiar. I think we get it here, but it's been so long I can't remember what it's like.
Yeh....it rained a bit here today, which felt so amazingly hopeful and spring-like after all the snow!
i know i snowed yesterday and its been a bloody icebox the whole winter. its weird really, i dont think ive ever seen such a cold, snowy winter here.
I've actually been glad it was a proper winter. Last winter it rained and rained and rained, it was just grey and miserable and horrible. This year there's been a lot of snow, and lots of crisp sunny white days And it means that when it does rain, it's actually a sign of some kind of seasonal progress yay!
My daughter was let out of school on Friday for spring break and it has snowed everyday since. Spring break my a$$! lol
btw sorry to the OP for the derail! All the threads seem to turn into the "let's talk about" thread lol doh Today I saw some green things poking through the melting snow and realised I never managed to dig up all my parsnips in the end! Will they still be ok?
Me too! They're my first lot and omg they're so much better than the crappy Norwegian supermarket ones. I thought maybe they just didn't grow well here, so decided to try my own to check and they were massive and amazing. In the supermarket, they're tiny, indivually packed on a little plastic tray and covered in cling film, and are expensive. Silly Norway.
