hey ozzy, I did the same thing a few times. A couple of them look completely like 1 dread, and another one looks like one dread with a crazy bump
I have 3 fat congos on the back of my head, close to my neck, i started 2 of them with a band, then removed it after about a month, all 3 of them have tightened and meshed together , however they seem to have some trouble knotting at the ends, should i twist and rip or try some clockwise rubbing? Peace
always found clockwise rubbing funny mostly cause it sounds as if counterclowise rubbing would undread kinda like a screw, I think twist and rip would work better but I guess it depends on the length of undreadedness at the end
I feel like a better person knowing this as for the end of your dreads not knotting.. give them time and they will eat themselves into a nice round end. If you lack patience which I'm assuming you do... rub the end of your dread in a circular motion in the palm of your hand.. this will make the end of your dreads into knotty little ball
did I reply to this thread already?! anyway,,a couple weeks ago I ripped a congo that was in the same posishh as your making yours. I think sometimes when they are just over the ear(?) well my congo used my ear as a little shelf so stuck out like a little branch. I find congos work better at the back as they sit better? but whatever you want,,you can always rip it if it begins to piss you off :cheers2:
I'll probably make some new ones or let them combine with old ones, but I think I'm always gonna have some loose hair around my face. I like it much better.
