Nah, he wouldn't use that one to sword fight with them. He'd just have it for show I think. Notice I said I think.
Yeah, my grandmother just bought a porcelain baby doll for my daughter and was like "but you can't play with it!" I'm sitting there thinking "now why on Earth would you give a porcelain baby doll to a 2.5 year old toddler? And then tell her she can't play with it? Duh!" My grandmother did the same with me when I was a child...bought me expensive collector's Barbies and other no-no play with dolls with strict instructions that they were just for show and not for play. Well guess what. Those dolls got played with.
I have a bunch of porcelain dolls and take them out from time to time and let my daughter play with them. I make sure my sons aren't around though, because they are so hard on everything that they'd totally murder the poor things. My youngest son has a fascination with banging his twin sister's baby doll's heads against the floor just to hear her scream.
Yes, my boys definitely have a blast doing that one too. My youngest son goes straight for his twin sister's hair, grabs onto it and yanks with a smirk on his face while doing so. It always gets a reaction from her, which is why I think he does it. Like hmmm, if I yank her hair out by the roots, she'll scream, and it's funny! Well of course I don't think it's funny, but he does. I grow weary of prying his hands from her hair.
It's funny, but when I was pregnant with my twins, they were even fighting each other in the womb. On the ultrasound one would kick the other one, then the other would jab with their fists. They fight a lot to this day, they're very competitve with one another. But they really do love one another too. They like to dance to Sleeping Beauty's "Once Upon a Dream" together. They'll hold each other's hands and twirl around the room singing together. It's so cute. Or if one falls or gets hurt, the other one is always so concerned, rushes over and asks "you okay?" and then proceeds to smooth the other's hair in a loving gesture. Oh, and if one gets in trouble and has to have a time out, the other one will come sit by them. Sometimes they'll hold each other's hands while we're in the car, since their car seats are right next to one another. I'll be looking in my rear view mirror and the two of them will be holding each other's hands and it's just so precious! But when they catch me looking at them, they quickly pull their hands away.
Balls can produce children, no? Besides, how many thread really stay on the original topic anyway? They all branch out.
