Well my vacuum cleaner decides to break down on my the other day, so I asked my aunt if I could borrow hers. She was more than happy to lend me hers, and dropped it off on her way to work. After she left, and as I began to undo the loops of power cord from the side of the vacuum cleaner, I began to feel a powerful urge come over me. An urge that I hadn't felt for a while. The powerful urge to procrastinate! I gave in and began procrastinating. At first, I procrastinated in the living room - where the vacuum was. After that, I procrastinated in the computer room. I ended up procrastinating all day, in multiple rooms. I think it was the most I've procrastinated in one day. Before I knew it, my aunt came walking through my front door and caught me procrastinating. I felt ashamed. I think she could tell what I had been doing all day by the look on my face. Anyway, I rolled the cord back up on the side of the vacuum, put the vacuum in her car, and drug myself back into my house. Is this normal?
It's this family, the trouble makers...don't be fooled, or taken n by them...bunch of wankers! Had us all fooled! http://home.bt.com/images/henry-hoover-nativity-136394861555003901-141208161700.jpg http://www.henryhoover.uk.com/the-henry-hoover-range-what-are-the-differences/
Lol! Their little baby vacuum is rolling around on the dirty hay, and they just stand there smiling, not vacuuming it up.
yup. normal is still a mythical beast, but the condition is not by any means unusual. i don't know what doing nothing is. i know what doing something other then what i had thought i had intended is though. (you could even say i'm sitting here doing that right now. well there is a fresh fall of snow on the ground, and there isn't anything i absolutely have to go out and go buy. just a bunch of things i'm sooner or later intending to get around to, and i know its not good for my health to just sit all the time. there's just so much i enjoy doing, that requires sitting down, inside, someplace where its nice and warm)
No this is not normal and I would suggest you find a support group asap. SWIM joined such a group and the changes were phenomenal. They started to modify behaviours first by introducing swiffers. By the end of the 12 step program they graduated to french maid costumes with total acceptance of the concept of cleaning. SWIM said the men looked fetching in the costumes. Expanse, embrace your inner woman!
LIKE! (I'm out of likes). Well, if I must dress like a french maid in order to kick this procrastination habit....
hmm...i always thought expanse was a man now i have to retrain the voice in my head when i read their posts
