i like people, i don't like people telling me what to do. when they do, i'll get pissed with them. if they don't, i don't give a shit about them. live and let live. i've grown up around loads of people of different ethnicities. i only had a problem with a few of them. and when i did, it was HUGE. i'm not discounting that. i hate religious institutions, i hate people excusing their behavior through religion and i hate when they try to convert me. other than that, the foods good and they mow their lawn, so they're just fine by me.

and that is my philosophy.

 

I don't know about the UK, but here in Canada there taking over.

Just read a few days ago, that there demanding our government to allow polygamist marriages, only to muslims so they can claim welfare for all their wives.

Look Im not saying that I agree with the ideas that are central to the muslim faith. I don't. What Im saying is that on some level you have to seperate the people from the faith..that can be difficult, but its something I believe in. Obviously, I think Im "right", otherwise I wouldn't feel the way I feel. Unless you can convince me it would be beneficial to myself and to society for me to adopt some hateful views towards other groups of people, which no one has yet, I will continue to feel this way.

i have to tell you a funny story about working at victoria's secret when i was 19. i was a fitter, which basically means i head into the dressing rooms and take the measurements of the customers. this lady comes in, covered head to toe, with her very protective husband. she wants to be fit for some new lingerie.

so i go to take her into the fitting room to take her measurements. her husband says, "no, I'LL do it." at which time i inform him of the rule that no couples are allowed in the fitting room together. he looked incensed, and i said "listen, you have no idea how many people try to have sex in there and it's totally inappropriate and i will no allow it." he says "but i'm her husband!" and i said "prove it."

at which time she started "yelling" at him very quietly, and he allowed me in there with her to take her measurements. btw, GORGEOUS, and COMPLETELY coated in jewelry. it was fascinating. but he was never more than a single step away from the door. btw, i got their business quite a lot.

 

I'm going to assume that you live in the UK, right? I can't speak for how things are there.

However...Here in Canada, they come over looking to "escape there old life", then after settled in, they force our government to conform to their ways without making any effort to conform to our ways, many screw our system (welfare, health, etc.), they cry racism at anything in which they don't get their way, (I can attest to how two are screwing the bigger cab companies, with the good'ol race card)
I have no problems with other races/religions coming over here...HOWEVER...It stops when I'm forced to "Bück Dich" to their ways...Amazing how Asians came over, kept their culture yet still conformed.
