I assume he hates his family too. If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. Luke 14:26
You are right, only 144,000 to rule with Jesus. How many others do you want to go to heaven? There’s only so much room and humans are from the earth, from the dirt
I think he's infatuated by the part in the Bible where God smites them … you know … them brown people of the Mud Races who pour in over the border.
See, that's kind of the point I'm trying to make, people should cherry pick because the Bible has been translated so many times and is so open to interpretation that it's impossible to take every part literally, much of it is not really how it is And I dislike the idea of someone saying "well you're not a Christian because you dont practice x" about someone who simply has a different interpretation (that last part isnt directed at you, i'm sure that goes without saying but I thought I would say it anyways)
There has never ever been sufficient evidence that any of the religious tomes are true and accurate whether Pali ; christian ; muslim ; hindu etc etc and all of those groups of splinter break offs that disagree in some part with the main tenant - so quoting any text as evidence is problematic?
When I hear someone say the victim always complains, that tells me they are heartless Republicans who think the poor don't deserve anything. At Colorado State University that's called Social Darwinism. The funny thing is Republicans who don't like Darwinism when it comes to teaching Science in schools, always invoke Social Darwinism on the poor in areas like social services. And while we are on Islam, any camel rider can tell you Christians are not superior to others.
I did not say they are right. I said I truly like it. Don't make logical leaps where no premise exist.
Must be nice to be delusional. Don't want to be poor ?? Change, can't, welcome to the bottom rung on the ladder.
I DO think the poor deserve a 'safety net' at all times but when the poor become 'lazy' and just want to use their money for drugs then it becomes a social problem and sometimes child welfare problem - I do believe the rich should help the not so rich to an extent but there also must be limitations
i remember my grandparents - just - they were poor by definition of the times but they worked everyday of their lives to always have a loaf on the table - one of them had 11 kids still poor still worked - but there were tighter rules then
