These wise words speak volumes.

It is, then, up to ALL of us to make our life journeys as giving and as unselfish as is possible; also, to try to negotiate all of the detours and dead-ends that life puts in our paths, as we journey, with dignity and with courage.

And, most certainly, living our lives in such a manner that we promote brotherhood, tolerance, and love along the way.....

..........it is indeed sobering (and frightening) when you realize that, in today's violent, unstable world, that Jews now have to ALWAYS be on the alert when they attend services at their synagogues and temples.

Here, these devout worshipers go to be closer to God, and, as they do so, there is always now the threat of violence hanging about them, like an evil spectre.

Too, look at how many Catholic churches have been vandalized; also, mosques.

The more serious attacks, sadly, have led to carnage and death.

One cannot even begin to fathom what such warped, misguided, highly-disturbed individuals are thinking, as they plot their next criminal act of hatred against innocent people.

Nowhere is safe, today.

The United States, Great Britain, Europe, Africa.........no place on this violence-torn planet is safe.

Religious freedom is under attack, as are many racial groups, attacks on the LGBTQ community......NO ONE is safe....except, perhaps the cowardly, despicable individuals who think nothing of destroying the lives of innocent people.

If ONLY the "good people" of this world could all band together and destroy all the hatred, anger, and violence.......

Yet another senseless anti-Semetic attack in New York City.......

A 63-year old Jewish man was attacked by an unknown assailant while walking in Central Park.

The man suffered a broken hand and a chipped tooth.

Stupid, barbaric, and senseless.

Anti-Semetic attacks are now at an all-time high.

Hatred and intolerance are vicious cancers that MUST be stopped.

People will never learn........

Just heard that the human animal who attacked a Jewish man In CEntral Park several days ago shouted : "Kanye ,2024!"

The 63-year old Jewish man suffered a broken hand and, of course, was also traumatized.

So very sad.....and distressing, especially at this time of year.

These despicable acts of hatred are spreading like a vicious cancer; so far, during the past few years, there has, sadly, been little respite.

My heart aches for the innocent victims of these stupid, senseless crimes......

Just heard on 1010 News Radio (NYC) that anti-semetism is steadily growing virtually everywhere in our country.

A sad, sick commentary on today's society.

So damn senseless.....so many innocent people suffering for their religious beliefs......heartbreaking AND despicable......

A meeting of New Jersey religious leaders was held today (Tuesday) in Hudson County, New Jersey (I, myself, was born in Hudson County, in 1957)

This meeting was to address the serious security issues now affecting many NJ houses of worship.

Just this past weekend, some sick-minded cretin hurled a maletov cocktail into an Essex County synagogue.

Thankfully, no injuries.

Indeed pathetic (and sobering) when people are no longer safe in a house of worship.......

Just heard on the news (Saturday, 2/25) that, though there are no specific threats, security is being further intensified at synagogues, temples, and Jewish schools, as a number of radical online extremists groups are calling for a "A Day Of Hate" against the Jews.

May God be with the Jewish people in these dark times............
