Yes it should be interesting. It is funny, when I read the article originally I thought she was lying. I can not imagine any 18 year old being verbally assaulted and no one stepping forward to help a scared girl. Apparently she is looking at a year in jail for the false police report... do you think they should show her sympathy? What do you think she deserves? Do you think the lawyer recommended she shave her head do the court will show sympathy? I think so. Who can believe anything this girl says from here on out,

I think that the excuse she used, or better said, abused is terribly misplaced and deserves some consequence. After all, other people are really concernced about these kind of matters lately and she was aware of that. If it wasn't a pressing matter in her society lately I would be much more forgiving... like who cares then. But now it could be seen as an attempt of riling people up.

Don't know the details about her staying out with her friends late at night but yeah, at first instance I pity her for the strict parenting of her parents. I can imagine as a teen that you resort to such a weird excuse. Now it blew up in her face apparently. But the strict parenting might be the reason for her lie, it is not a proper excuse of course. So it does not have to be excused by the rest of society or better said the court. She made the mistake of using an excuse that is also a trending societal issue so to speak.
