While it's a horrible story showing indefensible behavior, I'd sure like to see another witness' account of it.

The Bystander Effect and Diffusion of Responsibility, where people tend to not take action amongst populated areas is actually a psychological phenomena that has been documented for quite awhile ( ~mid 20th century).

 

America has a long history of such actions, it always was and still is OK to attack and insult Muslims and Coloureds, both at home and abroad.

 

I wonder if her disappearance is unrelated and coincidentally occurred so close to the other incident, or if it is related.

Seems kind of far fetched these guys would find her again in a city as big as NY, especialy since you just know all muslims look the same to these yahoos

But stranger things have happened.

I like to think i would stand up for someone in this situation. I know i would want to, but you never know if some crazy person would pull a gun on you these days.

I'm only skeptical because of all the hoaxes lately. Only a couple of weeks ago a young Muslim girl on a college campus claimed that "Trump supporters" had harassed her about her head scarf (oddly they didn't say hijab). Turns out she was lying about the whole thing.

I wonder if these hoaxers and liars realize the harm they do when a real case occurs. Thankfully rape hoaxing is down, but for a while it looked like it might become a growth industry.

We have enough bullshit in our lives without having to endure lies that create even more bullshit.

If 3 drunks did indeed harass this woman over her hat, essentially what's happening here, they're assholes. That's what we call such people. Unless they did more, we can only read so much into their motivations. Watching the press allude to them sobering up then finding her and kidnapping her, is disturbing and disgusting at the same time. So much speculation is what led to all the bullshit we have seen since the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman conflict.

Thanks to the press we have a new race to hate, the "White-Hispanic". Mighty white of them to lighten his picture for effect.

So again, where was she? Did 3 white drunks kidnap her? And yes, where the hell is the camera phone footage, the subway footage and any other video of this? If SO many people saw it, there must be something. Maybe it will be up on WorldStar soon, they're always "reliable"!
