I have fairly complete studio in my house. Mostly analog to to a stand alone recording console for use with the bands I play with and I also contract out time...But recently I got an Mbox 8x8 and Pro Tools 11. I'm reading the first couse book for Pro Tool certification and would love to upgrade to an Avid S6 modular control surface some day but I also want a custom made 70ft' sailboat so I can sail around the world...
Anway I don't lnow what software you using but if tell me more and I'm not swamped--things in Hawaii are slow this time of year - I might be interested in helping.

Things got busy in Hawaii but I was re-reading this and had a few friends who have gone through the whole "should I do a solo album?, can I do a solo album? thing. We began talking about it and it seems like this is something every musician goes through at some point. The one thing we all agreed on is that going solo while your still with a working band is like jumping out of an airplane into the clouds. It's scary as hell -even for very successful musicians but sometimes it workes out great. Look a the Grateful Dead everyone in that band has done solo stuff except ironically Bill Kreutzman who was one of the people here that night. An even he is doing something for the 50th anniversary.
What comes down to mate is timing and commitment. When it feels right go for it and never doubt yourself.
