Music when you were a kid

Metallica was one of the first bands I paid attention to hehe. Started with the black album though, it was just released. I looked it up, 1991: I was 9 years old then! Other early albums were Offspring - Smash, Iron Maiden - 7th son and Nevermind

 

Yea, I started listening to the Black Album before I got into metal too. It was my mom's CD. I still think it's a great album.

 

I'm not too fond of it anymore but it's certainly not bad!

 

I remember all the days of listening to Sad But True on full fuckin' blast.

Such a heavy fucking song.

 

Until you get to private high school . Then it still kinda sucks dick, but the girls and drugs make up for it.

When I was 10 I was all about Bon Jovi (teh lolz)
and then of course I listened to all the classic rock and pop music my parents did. I didn't start expanding all too much musically until 6th (2003) grade when I was introduced to Death Cab for Cutie. After that I started to really explore my musical tastes and now like such a wide variety of music its not funny, except to myself

 

My private school had a 3:1 guy:girl ratio.
it sucked dick.

 

Damn my catholic school is like 60:40 or 65:35. It is a great ratio that comes from a lot of guys getting kicked out or just saying fuck it and leaving.

when nsync would come with a new single, we'd hate BSB and love nsync. when bsb would come out with a new single, we'd loove them and hate nsync. oh the joys of being a fickle 2nd grader
of course i always liked whatever it was came on the classic rock station, thanks to my dad.. my mom listened to country music for awhile when i was little too. i remember i changed her music tastes by making her put it on the pop music station when i was like 6..
but when i got into my own rock music, my first favorite band was Blink 182. haha.. i remember liking linkin park for a bit too. ew hahah..
