I've always wanted to listen to The Wall all the way through while tripping. I get so sucked into the story the album tells sober, I can only imagine how amazing it would be tripping on some good lucy.
The Wall is good for the comedown or come-up to pass some time. I don't like it as much as other PF albums while peaking though. Definitely listen to the Wish You Were Here album right when you are peaking, you seriously won't regret being thrown into that cosmic journey in your mind. Shine on You Crazy Diamond is musical genius.
the album Narcissus, by Pacific!. has some great jams, and some ominous dissonant tunes spread out, but its pretty innovative i think. no story necessarily except for the title which serves as somewhat of a theme, the story of Narcissus from mythology: "Narcissus or Narkissos (Greek: Νάρκισσος), possibly derived from ναρκη (narke) meaning "sleep, numbness," in Greek mythology was a hunter from the territory of Thespiae in Boeotia who was renowned for his beauty. He was exceptionally proud, in that he disdained those who loved him. Nemesis saw this and attracted Narcissus to a pool where he saw his own reflection in the waters and fell in love with it, not realizing it was merely an image. Unable to leave the beauty of his reflection, Narcissus died." Spotify link song that describes the album the best i suppose: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yUm0nMb2D8"]Pacific! - Venus Rising - YouTube
'The Wall' is too bleak and depressing for me to trip to. Same goes for some cuts on "Dark Side of the Moon", especially "Time". I've done it in the past of course, but over time... the weight of the words became pretty real and heavy.
