Music that you just DON'T 'get'?

If it's being used to make music, I'd say yes

 

I added a bit to that post to clarify what i mean in regards to the use of computers.

 

I guess I'm a purist. I want to here sounds created by humans on an instrument made to produce a certain sound be it a guitar a saxophone or an oboe. Picking these sounds from a computer and mixing them together takes no musical talent. Now taking sounds that you have created on one of the instruments I talk about and using a computer to compose something is acceptable. Usually its just a mixing board.

 

Aha, I knew we would agree on something. I’ve seen percussionist use all sorts of things for drums including luggage. The thing is they are able to create music with an instrument be it conventional or otherwise. It’s no different than a cigar box guitar.
