Media attention whores? 99% of emo bands never make it on television EVER the shit they play on mtv is truly horrible though... and music should always be more artistic than whining about your girlfriend all the time.
I don't blame emo for the whoring.... I say its any band that tries to stick to a formula, because formulas are proven to make money. So your either in it for the money or in it because you wanna find out what music is possible to be made... With that said I hate any music that sticks to a genre... well hates a little too strong of a word. Disgusted maybe? Alls i know is that if Im guessing what's making the sounds I hear then it's pretty good music
i don't like unoriginal music. i like it when i can listen to an album ad nauseum and still think it's creative and enjoy it.
i have to say though... it's just very hard for me to understand how people can't like jazz, or soul music. would anyone care to explain because, frankly i'm at a loss for words or thoughts.
there really isnt a kind of music i hate. i used to hate country, but for no good reason now i realize it's o.k. and bluegrass rocks! plus, how could i hate country when i love the grateful dead! i prety much like all. pop can get annoying, especially pop punk, but oh well, it's better to hae it than not, i think
Rap isn't music , it's aural fecal matter ,so it shouldn't count for this list. My vision of Hell would be being forced to sit through 10 minutes of opera music. I like just about everything else. But there's the good and the shit in every type of music. But rap and opera... I havn't heard any of the good yet.
