You have a handful of biggish rock bands that emerged post 2000 , One republic, Artic Monkeys, but they just seem to be these generic boring bands

Rock, Rock festivals seemed to have been decimated particularly in the last 5 years as many just got fed up with headline acts that were 30/40 years old. Even I'm so totally sick of Metallica

Skrillex has been the biggest force in music this decade, and over and above the 10,000 wannabes that do the same kind of thing just not quite as good
