Music and meditation

    i am personally against music and meditation (i've tried it). i prefer silence. meditation, to me, should involve removing exterior conditions in your environment, and closing in on your self. it's more difficult for me to do that if im hearing any sound, even if it's a pleasant one.

    but other people may prefer it, so just try both methods.

    I do either depending on my mood. Any kind of music too: new age, traditional eastern, classical, jazz, dubstep, whatever I'm feeling. I'm pretty opposed to the idea that there's a right or wrong way to meditate. Find what works for you.
