I heared by many muslims that music, painting and sculpturing all considered to be sins.
since I am a musician myself i would like to know if it's true or not.

There are deffirent opinions
Regarding Music, here is a fatwa an opinion

about music, we can say that music has been a subject of controversy and disagreement among Muslim scholars in past and present times. Some scholars, like Ibn Taymiyyah, forbid all types of music except using the duff (tambourine) in marriage ceremonies. Other scholars such as Imam Al-Ghazali and Ibn Hazm differentiate between two kinds of music, one is haram and another one is halal. The latter view seems to be the most authentic.Having said this, we can say that it is really difficult to judge any type of music as halal or </I>haram</I> unless you are aware of the words that the people are singing, the circumstances and the consequences that it might lead to. Thus, if the music will lead to inciting desires and making the people forget about their prayers and acts of worship, it is definitely haram; while if it teaches good manners it cannot be counted as haram.

Regarding painting and sculpturing, also there are different opinions

We’d like first to state that there is nothing wrong in drawing as long as the images do not depict nudity or other indecent representations. Also, the picture or image should not be revered or glorified. The haram pictures and images are only those, which are worshiped and revered. Within these restrictions drawing humans, animals, natural scenes, etc. is permitted. What is prohibited is making a statue or a sculpture of a living being that has shade (depth or three dimensional). Here, we’d like to cite for you the following Fatwa: "One may draw pictures of people, animals, etc. as long as they don’t depict anything against Islamic guidelines..in the Arabic Language, what we call Sourah or commonly translated as 'image' can mean several things, and in the context of the prohibition, it means a statute or a sculpture of a living being that has shade (depth or three dimensional) and not a photographic picture."

The other opinion prohibits drawing and sculpturing a living being only (human beings animals ...) and allows drawing and sculpturing trees , nature, etc
