http://www.law.umich.edu/special/exoneration/Pages/casedetail.aspx?caseid=3963 Here is the story. Vicki Durian was my aunt.......so I'm wondering if anyone might have known her, heard of her, etc. I was just thinking about her and realized that someone here might be able to tell me a bit about her. Here is her photo:
I hope you can learn some things about her - about what kind of person she was - her likes, talents, etc.
That's the hope. The case is so crazy- they practically had 10 people accused. The main suspect was awarded $2 million at the end of the case....*shakes head*.....it's awful. I'm pretty much convinced that he did it. I'd love to find people that maybe knew her, knew of her, and could tell me a bit about her. She sure sounds like a great lady- I know we would have gotten along very well.
It sounds far fetched that the serial killer did it. He probably got some kind of compensation to claim the crime.
wow, that's horrible. so sorry that that happened to her. it's not clear that she ever made it to any rainbow gatherings, so idk if anyone in the rbf would know about her. maybe the woman they were going to meet would know more about her?
Didn't make it to the 1980 Gathering. 34 years ago? Might not have ever been to one? We are a loooong shot. What about the sister? Is she still living? In contact? What can she tell you?
It sounds like the sister isn't around any more, no one has contact with her. I highly doubt we'd find anyone that knew her, or knew of her, but it's always worth a try.
