There is an unexpected warm break in the weather in the American Midwest, so I bought and planted some shrubs. The planting instructions called for plenty of water. Nothing like making your own mud! I didn't get a picture, because unfortunately I left my camera inside, and I wasn't going to track my muddy bare feet into the house...and rinsing them off would've missed the point. So no photo. It will be warm all week, so perhaps I'll get a barefoot photo of some other yard activities.

    Sounds like fun.
I'm getting ready to till up my backyard in preparation for planting grass seed.
If we don't get any rain, maybe I'll let the sprinklers run and create my own private mud pit.
Won't be quite as fun as hiking through mud out on a trail though.

Raking leaves today. Not too dirty; leaves are dry.

The yard is made for going barefoot in! Your own private land that nobody else can dictate.
