it was worse in that they weren't supposed to be thrown away, but the guy supervising me was a moron.

 

gotta love broken electronics. i went through a period where i kept buying used PS2s only to have them break a month later... so i threw several of those off a bridge. it was also great fun when i was a freshmen in college and my neighbor's stereo stopped working. initially it was just me and him smashing it in the dorm hallway, but eventually we got bored and left it. it stayed there for 2 days, with every passerby adding their own little bit of destruction to it...
