The Gods of Egypt (2016)

Naturally I put on my Gods of Egypt T-Shirt before viewing

 

“Worth” starring Michael Keaton. It’s a new film out on Netflix highlighting the two years immediately following 9/11 and the fund that was set up for the victims’ families. I wasn’t aware of all of this but it’s very sadly eye-opening as to how attorneys determine the “worth” of a human life when it comes to settlements.

 

Piranha 2: The Spawning (1981)

A Smörgåsbord of Bikini clad, sometimes topless, and sometimes naked college coeds who become a buffet for a school of deadly Piranha

 

30 Days of Night (2007)

A pack of hungry vampires descend upon the small town of Barrow, Alaska which experiences 30 days of night (darkness) every winter.

 

Last night I watched an old 80s horror movie called The Burning.

I'm seeming to love old movies now.

 

The Eternals

LOVED it. Not the typical Marvel movie. Maybe 30 minutes of fighting out of over two and a half hours. Covers so much: immortality, life, death, and purpose. Thematically right in line with Jack Kirby of the 1970's. Several twists I was impressed with. An outstanding film. GRADE: A

 

Just finished watching Christmas Vacation.. one of my favorites this time of the year

 

I haven't seen the movie but I had seen the trailer and It does look tired and boring

 

Finally caught the classic Night and the City, and man I think it's the most stressful movie I've ever seen in my life lol

No cheap scares, no cats jumping out of closets, no shootouts, just masterful storytelling and great cinematography building up to a roller coaster finish. 10/10

Level 16: It was pretty good. I love sci/fi thrillers. I'm glad I decided to check it out.
