The last one I watched was a James Bond movie that I didn't pay close enough attention to. It was fine, but I can't remember what happened! :)

And to make matters worse (this was on Netflix...) I don't know how to look up what I've watched in the past on Netflix. :(

Just watched Parasite, was ok ish, but not worth 4 Oscars. Joker should have won best picture

  3. Joker. Excellent movie.

Night in the museum 2, which I enjoyed much more than the original.

Yes, fun movies. I find i enjoy most comedies with Owen Wilson :-D But... it's stoner comedy. Always watch with a doob imo!

btw: I believe it's based on true events but obviously covered up (as usual) :sunglasses:

    Or an edible, no?

I still recall watching "Hot Tub Time Machine 2" stoned beyond comprehension... That's a fun movie too.

The netflix I leech off of has a recommendation section based on movies you recently watched that says something like "Because you watched X". Does yours not have that?

    Ok, I found it! :)

It was "The World Is Not Enough", but I didn't pay attention very well. I think I was tired that time.

I also watched Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, which is classic in my opinion. Costner was great at that role I think. And the sheriff of Nottingham was also very good.

The one with Costner is good, but my all-time favorite is The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938) with Errol Flynn, Claude Rains as Prince John, and Basil Rathbone as Sir Guy of Gisbourne

  12. Doctor Sleep.

Sort of a sequel to The Shining. Pretty good

I haven't seen it! :( But I'm not much for old ones; though "Prince of Thieves" is pretty old. I don't usually (Star Wars being the exception) watch movies from before my time. Star Wars was filmed in '77, but I wasn't alive until 1980. :) I think Raiders of the Lost Ark is pretty old too, but I don't know when it came out in theaters.

I was born in 1975. I’d say at least half of my top 100 favorite movies of all-time were pre-1975.

I can’t fathom the idea of missing on so many favorites such as….

    The Wizard of Oz
    Judgment at Nuremberg
    The Ten Commandments
    Spartacus
    The Great Escape
    Gone with the Wind
    Ben-Hur
    Bridge on the River Kwai
    To Kill a Mockingbird
    Casablanca
    12 Angry Men
    Fail-Safe
    Rope
    Mutiny On The Bounty
    Swiss Family Robinson

I haven't seen most of these. We may have managed to watch "To Kill a Mockingbirg" in school at some point. I think we read the book and then got to watch the movie... And I've seen the Wizard of Oz, which is super weird if you think about it a little with flying monkies, wicked witches, the yellowbrick road, and the emerald city, right? I think that's what it's called. Very cool. I might have seen parts of Swiss Family Robinson too, but I don't remember it at all. I should see if Netflix has it! :)

Just watched “Nowhere Michigan”. Filmed in and around Iron Mountain, Michigan. Many years ago we lived in that area and recognized.many of the locations and filmed in winter, how appropriate. As the yoopers say “the UP has 10 months winter and 2 months poor sledding”. Our daughter was born in Dickinson Cty and much of the dialogue sounds familiar.

Huh, thought all Star Wars stuff was removed from Netflix so it could be exclusively be on Disney+

Maybe it's different depending on location. I watched part of Solo last night on Netflix. :)
