I really only have watched a few. Waterboy, Gilmore. Madison, Airheads (one my favourite movies) hmm.. Maybe something else.
I laughed the entire time I was watching this, I thought for sure that this is one of his better recent stand ups! Pissed some folks off, but who cares, LOL!
It has its moments, but he can be too childish at times. Airheads is one my fav movies cause it's just so dumb but right up in my alley of dumb, I think it's a good portrayal of a falsified stereotype of metal heads, but you can't but think it's pretty accurate as well. Kinda like idiocrisy in a way.
I couldn’t get past the opening scene of that movie, when the scientists were in the jungle and used something to smoke the tarantulas out of the trees. I saw how big that first one was that landed in the pot, and turned the tv off- Fuck that.
man that movie gets me. On one hand it's just a typical dumb comedy, but on the other.. it's a fucking prophecy lol
Have you seen Airheads though? I have to ask cause it's such a cult movie that a lot of people haven't seemed to see. But it's got I think it was Sandler’s first movie, Brendan Fraser and Steve Buscemi It's got so many classic lines. It's about 3 failing musicians who want to get a record contract but they need air time on live radio But they suck and no one wants them so they hold up a radio station with realistic looking water pistols filled with tobasco sauce. One of my favourites lines is, they're surrounded by the police so they're trying to come up with a list of demands stupid enough to land them in the psych ward if they get arrested and Rex is like "order... 27 copies of Moby Dick" Alright, is that the book.. Or the movie? "what they made a book outta that?? Shit, get the book man" That part even made my dad laugh and tended to never laugh at a movie ever.
I enjoyed it The movie Arachnophobia (1990) was somewhat reminiscent of MIB (1997) where they go back and forth from a thriller to a drama to the comedy of John Goodman
