This one didn't really scare me...until I went to my friends house and she had an almost identical doll but blonde, then it scared the shit outta me.
OMG!!! Yes, The Exorcist scared the living hell right outta me. My mom never let me watch till I begged and begged and finally, at 11 years old, she said fine but that I'd have to sleep in my own room afterwards. Needless to say, I slept with my lights on, radio on and had about 2-3 comforters covering me with my pillows covering my head.
Return of the Living Dead (1985) A Nightmare on Elm Street, Aliens (1986) The Fly, The Hitcher (1986)
I remembered the Goonies scared me but the irony is one morning I woke up from a nightmare and my daddy sat me down and we watched the movies Aliens. Now this happens to be one of my favorite movies now lol and I specifically remember the scene where Rebecca fell into the water and the alien grabbed her. None of this ever frightened me. But the Goonies. Damn. I dunno what that movies about and I don't think it's meant to be scary but it scared me somehow.. because I remember the name The Goonies and I associated it with something I did it like. I remember a cave or something. Something dark and scary.
I remember a movie that our third grade teacher forced our class to watch, called Watcher in The Woods. When I think about it now, it seems like it was an Mk ultra experiment. But our whole class was traumatized.
When I was a little over 10 years old and while Mom n step Dad were out hitting the bars , I watched Alien on cable TV by myself I couldn't sleep without being scared in bed for many weeks
Then you missed some great movies……… The Exorcist (1973) The Thing (1982) Alien (1979) Halloween (1978) Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) Friday the 13th (1980) Nightmare on Elm Street (1986) Predator (1987) Evil Dead II (1987) Phantasm (1979) Near Dark (1987) Aliens (1986) The Lost Boys (1987) Return of the Living Dead (1985) The Shining (1980) Dawn of the Dead (1978) Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) Scanners (1981) The Blob (1988)
I had nightmares from "A Nightmare on Elm Street". And as much as I loved "Aliens" I think that one actually gave me a scare!
Jaws screwed me up pretty good... i didn't go to the bathroom for like a week.. had to go to the doctor... i thought he was in the toilet, the entire series screwed me up... went to the the Bahamas n some islands on a cruise, i wouldn't ride the banana boat, went to Sea World had a panic attack walking under the sharks in those tunnels...passed out i was so scared.... to this day i have an unreal fear of certain types of sharks... like i'd have a heart attack if i saw one circling me, i would die before it bit me
