Well, I haven't seen most of the movies in this thread. The only on mentioned that I saw and actually like was Spun. There are so many good though provoking movies out there and as far as thought provoking, there are many different ways a movie can do that whether it be though the plot, atmosphere, cinematography etc.. Some good ones are... Ali Zaoua: Prince of the Streets Carol's Journey Hop - And most other Film Movement titles Not to forget Akira Kurosawa and his groundbreaking stuff. And what the heck! Not even a mention of a Mel Brooks film? Come on people...Blazing Saddles!
