I have often teared up while watching movies, but have rarely actually cried during while doing so. I do know that when I saw Million Dollar Baby in the theater that I ended up staying in my seat into the credits because I was crying so hard.
human stupidity makes me cry. this is actually, i'm sorry, but something i don't enjoy doing, and for this reason i avoid mainstream fiction, who's plots depend on it, in any media. what got me into science fiction (the real/literary kind, and that in turn is a large part of what got me into furry) is that stories can actually be told that don't depend on it. (literary science fiction is fiction about science, movie and tv sigh-fiy, are mostly just fantasy wars and soap operas with a lot of high tek looking eye candy. i like the eye candy, but i really prefer stories that don't depend on people being idiots)
