For me it had to be Top Gun, the bit where Tom Cruise was tearing along on his bike beneath the fighter plane, reminded me a lot of myself, I was a proper speed freak back then, I was so quick on my 125 that the lads on the bigger bikes couldn't get near me, oh and I suppose I was a bit suicidal as well. I once went from Southport to Billinge, a distance of about 25 miles in around 15 minutes, now that was some going, ahh the good old days before speed camera's.
I'm older than lots of folks on here. I was only in 5th or 6th grade when this was released and I loved it!
Very progressive for it's time and still relevant today I think. Just watched it tonight with my daughter, she loved it!
One flick which shaped me forever was Rebel Without A Cause starring James Dean and my all-time fav actress Natalie Wood . The best scene has gotta be when Natalie flags the boys in the fatal chicken race .....a scene that tells the story of an entire generation
If I type in duckduck go search engine the name of a movie or tv show. “Stream name of it here “ 90% of the time it comes up. A lot of times in Daily Motion. I know it’s on YouTube hidden somewhere too probably. I can’t stand when I want to watch summit and I can’t.
