I am saying that motorcycle riders have the same rights to safe road use as other vehicles.

Yes I agree with that, but at the same time, the actions those riders did was not appropriate, hell with chains and stuff, dinging up my car making threats, thats defense enough for a kill shot here in my state, because cars are protected under the castle doctrine

A motorcycle is by defination not as safe as a car or truck. Deal with it instead of crying about it.

If motorcyclists were more responsible I would agree but I’ve seen them on too many occasions take chances weaving in and out of traffic and whenever there’s a tie-up due to construction, congestion, or an accident they’ll navigate between lanes.

Two years ago on memorial drive in cambridge I witnessed a motorcycle suddenly change lanes and he was hit by this girl driving an SUV and thought to myself “sorry but you got just what you deserve”

too much chance he will fight the ticket and win because no cop witnessed it....and why should I have to take a day off my life and go to Toronto to testify against some dude?

......are you an actual hillbilly?.......cause I don't know many hillbillies that call the popo.....however I know a shitload of hillbillies that would agree with me about this.......

you seem to hate this shit so i'll tell ya another......

my brother is also a rider..........he was touring with the national ballet in Vancouver when he saw 4 stagehands with helmets on coming into the theater laughing...

many of the iatse stagehands are Harley riders......my brother asked them what was so funny....

they said someone cut them off on the highway so they followed him to a stoplight where they all got off their bikes and with their side-cutters[all stagehands carry them] each of them snipped the dudes air valves off his wheels......

instantly flattening all 4 tires at a redlight in busy downtown Vancouver

    always check your mirrors people:)

Yes I am my family had been coal miners for years, and I like a simple country life style, love my guns, love farm animals, they are from virginia, we are hillbillys, believe in being self sufficient, however I am also a hippie in many ways. My family was very active in the civil rights movements because we are part Native American.

However that story you just said....that just made me laugh out-loud man. Did they describe the look on his face? Now something like that, I have no problem with, as long as it doesn't cause any accidents, no psychical harm is done. I guess I just don't like the possibility of me going to jail, because that means possibly a felony and my gun rights mean too much to me?? but yeah that ones pretty fun, got anymore?

The driver of this car was at fault and killed my future son in law. I'll cry about this as much as I want to and my tears are none of your fucking business, Mr. Migration.

I am sorry for your loss, that is terrible. But it is a completely different issue.

The fact that someone died and the fact that motorcycles are less safe than cars and people crying about it.
Completely different issues, I am sure you are smart enough to see that.

Not all that off topic. The uneven odds tween the cycle and the auto were a contributing factor in bikers preferring to ride in groups/gangs. "Safety in numbers."

It was my understanding that all Harleys are shit and they fall apart by just looking at them.

Excuses to justify crap riding skills... "loud pipes save lives" or "i only ride in groups cause its safer". Riding with a group or with loud pipes doesn't make up for shitty skills. All loud pipes on the public roads do is irratate people and further the "biker" stereotype.

Uneven odds manifest in a car vs bike collision, and then there's no contest. That idea presumes that there WILL be a collision but the "odds" of a motorcycle avoiding a collision in the first place by having faster/better maneuverablity and superior stopping power is obvious to anyone that has ridden a little.

I've had one life-threatening accident (hit by a drunk) yet avoided countless collisions by the very fact that i was on a bike and not in a cage.

The problem is education as i see it. Driver/rider training in this country is a joke. Maybe if auto and bike riders had to go through all this shit to get a license it would be taken seriously.

Oh but, don't dare let the gubberment oppress us with more regulations...

    He probably doesn't understand that the orange paint outlines are the remains of a motorcycle in the photo;

    or he is just trolling.

    Man--that's rough. Sorry.

I rode for a few years, but the bastards kept turning left in front of me. One finally got me, so I hung it up. I was a solo rider.
