    I miss the days,
I could run and hide within the fields,
Swim the sparkled rivers and catch the mountains for a view.

    I see the ways,
Your love for me, frees another's binding,
But I've only eighty summers to see,
    Eighty winters, springs and falls...
Til I sleep away, slip away,
    To the abyss, the unknown.

My heart aches, knowing that I cannot
    Stay alive forever.

I'll watch us change and fade away,
Oh, Mother Earth, won't you let me stay?
