olhippie54~are you going to go to octoberfest while you're in kitchener? it's a really big deal there.
i totally love toronto. it's just a few hours drive from rochester. we're supposed to be getting a fast ferry to go there across the lake, but quite frankly i'd rather have nurses and librarians in the schools than a boat to carry more money out of town.
Agreed! With bubbles. That, and maybe a nice back massage. But I can't massage my own back (not the way I'd like it to be massaged), so I'll stick to the hot bubble bath.
my most relaxing thing is being by myself and going for a long walk in the woods on a not too hot and not too cold kind of day. second best is being alone with trains, computers and possibly friendly little creatures, in a nice comfortably climate controled house. being with interesting people is of course more relaxing then being with unnimaginative people who have to have someone else's attention all the time. going for that long walk in the woods with someone who knows how to be quiet and not chaise all the little critters away is ok too.
