i wuld second the Bob Marley already mentioned. when im feeling down nothing soothes like Bob Marley singing "One Love" and as the Cd (greatest hits or someptin) continues i go from cryin to dancin. ahhhh thank you Bob.

also a giant happy song is "truckin" - grateful dead. i dunno why i like taht one but i do it jus maakes me smile.

"Like A Rolling Stone" by Bob Dylan. It seems that nobody mentioned this jewel yet. It's as positive as you could probably get.

Even though the lyrics are presented as mostly negative, like "After he took from you everything he could steal...", it does come across in the end what good can come from it, "When you ain't got nothin', You ain't got nothin' to lose."
