Most overrated artist!?

Anyone that is on MTV.... umm.... aerosmith... metallica(post black album. including the black album).... iron maiden.. most 80s hairbands.... ALL disco groups(disco fuckin sucked... bottom line.. not one disco band was as good as anyone said they were)..... KISS(woop woop.. gene simmons had a long tongue and spit blood... and paul stanely is a fag)

 

floyd?!?! damn, they kicked some major fucking ass! i think the dead were pretty overrated, i don't see what's so great about em.

just thought of two more.... Pearl Jam.... they had some good songs early in their career.. but overall they fuckin sucked.... and APC... tool kicks fuckin ass... i dont know where maynard was expecting to go with APC.. but that shit is fuckin lame....

I just don't see why people call them the greatest band ever, they're nothing special at all.

 

Jimmy Page is extremely overrated. Also Phish and Widespread are quite overrated.

nirvana, maybe kurt was very hyped up but they marked an era, created a style of music that was different and people loved it. I cant really think of a band equally as good SINCE!

i think mick jagger is the biggest wanker ever so i could say that the rolling stones are overated but im sure people will disagree its just a matter of taste alot of the time

 

They've got a few good tunes, but I've never really thought they were as good as most people say they are. Just my opinion though.

the Doors are the biggest load of wannabe philospical lyrics ever. I would even say that they are an example of what good musicians soudn like with a horrible songwriter. Those guys were excellent musicians but they let a twat like Jim Morrison turn them into shit.

 

i love the doors myself, but then again i wouldn't agree that they were the most talented band ever, i don't know if i would put them as overrated, but then again i don't know any people in person at the moment who rant on about how amazing they are, and i don't see much publicity from them where i am

We realize what overrated means and I'm dead serious when I say Led Zeppelin is the most overrated band ever. I do agree with you about the Stones though they are indeed very overrated.

 

i would go with nirvana...they aren't that good

 

don't get me wrong.....i love zepplin but definitely the most overrated band in history.....although john bonham was one hell of a fucking time keeper man
