Dont get me wrong I love rap especially underground hip hop and beats but not this mainstream crap with lyrics that suck ass and they play over and over its really annoying lean back is another i hate to
Yeah i hate that lean back song sooo much . I cant stand the chip munk song. im blue dub a de bud e da or however that song went im not sure what band that was.
Pretty much anything by Enema-M and the whole constipated rap music industry. As I've said before, it's time to end the 20 year monopoly of rap and flush the bowels of today's constipated music industry. Also: Music Box Dancer Alone Again, Naturally (sad, but annoying) Killing Me Softly With His Song (never could understand those lyrics) anything by the Partridge Family (they were bad enough to look at, let alone listen to) Any recording by the Brady Bunch Kids (Congress should have those tapes burned) Ebony/Ivory (most trite lyrics ever) anything by Yoko Ono (sounds like a mouse being stepped on) Do You Know the Way to San Jose? (what were Bacharach and David thinking?) Should have been: Do You Know the Way OUT OF San Jose?
quote: Do You Know the Way to San Jose? (what were Bacharach and David thinking?) Should have been: Do You Know the Way OUT OF San Jose? I think it from the perspective of a woman who went to LA to be a star, and had enough and was ready to go home.
Never could stand "Mr. Moonlight" by the Beatles. The Organ bridge (solo - whatever) is especially bad.
(choir singing) I WANT TO KNOW WHAT LOVE IS>>>>I WANT YOU TO SHOW ME" That song simultaneously derpresses and scares me.
That stupid ketchup song? i dont know exactly how it goes or what the group/band is called but its like: A hey ha, a hebby to da heb...some stupid ass shit like that. Just wanna break something when I hear it.
One more annoying one from the 80's: 'We Are The World' I thought we'd never hear the end of that one. They played it every day for about two years straight. Instead of 'song of the year', it should have gotten the Grammy for 'Most Overplayed Song'.
Ha. Don't mock that. Rap is beautiful poetry. Maybe the next new wave will be the sound of rappers farting in rhythm together. Hey, I better not give them any ideas. Next thing you know, they will be dubbing in the sound of breaking glass to help us vent our frustration. The Smashing Ketchup Bottles. Yeah! That's It! A new rap group! voice from distance: That's impossible And yet, it happened!
'I Want to Know What Love Is'. I almost forgot about that one. By Foreigner? That was typical of the many morbid slow torch songs from the 80's. Sounds like funeral music. "I've Been Waiting (for a girl like you)" was another.
this one has been torturing me this morning, since I heard 10 seconds of it on the radio last night. I can't fight this feeling any longer And yet I'm still afraid to let it flow What started out as friendship, has grown stronger I only wish I had the strength to let it show I tell myself that I can't hold out forever I said there is no reason for my fear Cause I feel so secure when we're together You give my life direction You make everything so clear And even as I wander I'm keeping you in sight You're a candle in the window On a cold, dark winter's night And I'm getting closer than I ever thought I might And I can't fight this feeling anymore I've forgotten what I started fighting for It's time to bring this ship into the shore And throw away the oars, forever Cause I can't fight this feeling anymore I've forgotten what I started fighting for And if I have to crawl upon the floor Come crushing through your door Baby, I can't fight this feeling anymore My life has been such a whirlwind since I saw you I've been running round in circles in my mind And it always seems that I'm following you, girl Cause you take me to the places that alone I'd never find And even as I wander I'm keeping you in sight You're a candle in the window on a cold, dark winter's night And I'm getting closer than I ever thought I might And I can't fight this feeling anymore I've forgotten what I started fighting for It's time to bring this ship into the shore And throw away the oars, forever Cause I can't fight this feeling anymore I've forgotten what I started fighting for And if I have to crawl upon the floor Come crushing through your door Baby, I can't fight this feeling anymore
Oh Seamonster...that is REO Speedwagon isn't it? I cannot listen to them either, or anything by Air Supply, the lead singer looks like my mom, which would be no problem, except he's a guy. The worst concert I ever went to, if you can call it a concert, was Liona Boyd. I was so proud that I stayed awake till the end. And I must say it, hope no one is offended. "Old time Rock n Roll" by Bob Seger drives me nuts. I do like old rock, I love it, but that song, oooooooooh! Like fingernails on a blackboard.
