has anyone ever seen Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses? That movie is mad disturbing. Movies hardly ever bother me. I watched this one with all lights on, sitting on my couch with my mouth open... lol im serious. One should expect something so freaky and gruesome from Rob Zombie.. but still. Its the awesome movie that i dont care to see again... ;o)
I just don't see how anyone could find House of 1000 Corpses anything but STOOOPID. What a dumb, pointless, plotless waste of film -- and it didn't even make up for it by having any decent gore! I wish people would post some details about the movies or scenes they are saying were so disturbing. There have to be a lot of people reading these who have not seen every movie that's being named, and would like to know what about them is so disturbing. Like this "Requiem for a Dream" that people keep naming. No one has said really anything about it. Same thing with a bunch of other movies. Try being a little descriptive! Blue skies, -Jeffrey
i think Threads is one of the most disturbing. its stayed with me for a long time anyway. although Naked Blood is fairly disturbing tho its also borderline hilarious.
I didnt read all the posts on this, b/c im sleepy, and its already probably been mentioned....but "House of 1000 Corpses" really fucking disturbed me. I mean, it wasnt scary, just freaky as hell. just makes u wonder that there really are sick ass people like that out there...and the chicks laugh, although she was pretty cute...annoyed the hell out of me after a while. But seriously, i think this goes down as sickest movie ever made.
any war movie...especially nam movies. dead presidents is a good exaple, especially when chris tucker dies...the eyes bug me out every time.
I just saw Monster, with Charlize Theron and Christina Ricci. It was VERY disturbing. An excellent movie, not for those with a weak stomach, there wasn't any really blood and guts gore, but the entire movie was about a womyn who life was based on violence. I don't watch slasher films, they may be disturbing with violence, but I find movies that are actually real to be more disturbing. This movie is a true story, and that makes it more disturbing.
oh god yeah eraserhead. i didn't even like the film but i'll never forget it. that and audition and you've got some unnerving stuff. tetsuo the iron man and battle royale well and truly freaked me out. these japanese directors know their stuff, they're amazing.
I'd say most war movies, but I think the most disturbing one for me is "The Pianist". I coudn't stop myself from crying and at the same time I felt so angry for what has happened back then...
Texas chainsaw massacre (the remake) made me feel just awful. Like, I wasn't scared, I just felt really terrible after watching that movie. Fuck, requiem was insane, I hope I never see it again (even tho I own it...) but yeah.
Requiem for a Dream,Trainspotting,The Pianist, and theres a movie ive always wanted to know the name of that i saw a long time ago about two girls that are in a airport making there way somewhere.....i think they stoped in a different country to get on a dif plane...but anyway someone puts herion in there bags and they get takein to a prison..its really sad.does anyone know the name?
I just watched Ichi the killer and it was not as disturbing as I thought it would be. Audition was much better.
So, we got down HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES.. seems others feel this way too. I can't even believe more than 2 people actually watched this movie.. Did anyone ever see KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE.. Not sure about the actual disturbing factor, but I think it may fit in here.. Loved A CLOCKWORK ORANGE ...definite disturbing quality FREEWAY part 2 Absolutely. The first one was great: FREEWAY part 1 , a little less disturbing..The second was just nuts, Both of these are awesome movies!! There was this clip on the independent film channel. I think it had to be the most disturbing film I ever saw. It was this crazy take off of Little Red Riding Hood, but it was just really sickening, for me it went a little beyond disturbing. Not sure exactly where the writer was going with this, but yikes..major disturbing stuff going on there..
That is an AMAZING movie + has an amazing atmosphere + a great ending, all the stories in it... FANTASTIC .
