Right. Put "The Sisters Of Mercy" (the Cohen song, not the band) on in Windows Media Player and press ctrl-shift-G. It helps, trust me. Actually, the meaning of the word band is "play good music and try to grab chicks for the hell of it".
most boring live performer I've seen is Van Morrison. He's just so up himself, he thinks he's doing you an enormous favour by even being there at all.
Snoop Dogg and Mariah Carey, i saw them both at Live 8 and they sucked. Snoop: how many times can you say "mutha fucka" in one preformance? It's not shocking or outrageous. You just sound like a loser with a limited vocab Mariah: talks more than she sings, almost blows the speakers with her banshee screeching. When she came on the queues for the toilets tripled. Razorlight: That Johnny Borell (or whatever his name is) thinks he's Lennon, he's sourly mistaken
most boring artist, gery garcia most boring band, the dead i thought that would be odvios? ofcourse with enough lsd a pile of shit on the sidewalk can be exciting & mindboggling, almost a religios experience & that right there is why they have had a followig for so long basicaly a pile of shit thats fascinating if your high enough (i know alot of people who have tripped heavily & stared at a pile of shit , even followed it around all over the country may be upset by these remarks, but hey theyre sence of smell should have told them that they were knee deep in shit)
Errr... Akon. I guess. I dunno. If i don't love the first song i don't listen to any more and I love most things i listen to. Plus the bad ones don't stay in my mind.
ronan keating deserves to be nailed to a gate as far as i am concerned. that abyssmal cover of fairytale of new york was shite beyond words. ronan keating = shane macgowan?!?!? i dont think so!
all time most boring?? hmmmmmm....... i really dont like jazz, so yeah. thats what i choose. jazz. telephone on hold music that makes a bucket of sick look exciting :cuss:
Shows how much I listen to popular music, I never even knew he covered that. I'm going to regret this. Heading over to youtube to listen now.
i cant help it! i've been conditoned to find it boring! not only is it phone hold music, it was always jazz playing when i went to all those boring shops i had to go with my parents when i was little. AND doctors waiting rooms. lol!
That ain't Jazz! That's Muzac! Perhaps it's a subtle difference that only Jazz enthusiasts can tell, mind. Haha!
i'm not a jazz enthusiast but i can tell the difference. also similar to the nuevo classical musack you get to hear on hold as opposed to proper classical. though i must say that BT needs to move on from only playing Vivaldi's Spring.
I was on hold from T Mobile (over 20 minute phone call!) but their music werent that bad. Im guessing you all hate Ravi Shankar sorta thing as well... Sitar? Tabla? Harmounium? (i can play that!!) And raags? Classical? Beethoven? or is that just my impression... Though i think now that Classical music is the most boring. But listen to it on a Ukulele cos they make everything interesting (even Toxic - Britney Spears which is what im listening to now )
I don't mind classical, but my dad's a fan of Indian music (Ravi and Ananda Shankar for example) and I don't like it. Maybe it's because I haven't found a particular Indian musician whose music I connect with, but I think it's more to do with the style of the music.
Maroon 5. Feels like...nevermind. Also Manic Street Preachers on their worst albums or many other pop bands (though lots of times pop is nice), isn't nice. Though thinking of suicide can be made creative... of how ur gonna go. I'm gonna explode in space.
I'm so with you on the Manics, they really annoy me with their bollocks. Same with the Stereophonics.
Apart from that jumped up pip-squeek Robbie Williams, the accolade has to go to All RnB acts, and all Hip hop and Uk garage acts
