TwogigAhz is right on. We have around 6 erections while we sleep. This brings in oxygenated blood to nourish the erectile tissue. When this fails, erectile tissue is replaced with fibrous non erectile tissue. Atrophy. When I was castrate for several months as part of prostate cancer treatment I went on a regimen of at least one good erection a day to bring in the blood as we don't have the night time erections when there is no testosterone.
I awoke with a very rigid erection this morning. First thought was my God this feels so good. Second thought was oh no I really gotta pee! Bit my knuckles and thought about making coffee for a few seconds and then by the time I made it to bathroom it was getting down enough to go. Then of course I started playing with it again.
Nothing wrong with having morning wood. The only time I hate getting it, is when I'm visiting my parents house & bathroom is down the hall near their bedroom or visiting family at their house & someone is already using the bathroom. Otherwise morning wood works for me.
Early 60s and still usually morning wood every day. Daily hardon is a sign of good heart and circulation. Lack of erections could be a sign of heart disease or diabetes and may need to see the doctor
Well, after having been castrate much of 2020 and being in recovery, I'm not sure what is going on. May not have an erection in the morning, but a casual thought of a lady does the job right quick. I was concerned that the alcohol or cannabis I was using to shut my brain down at night so I could sleep might be killing my libido, so stopped both. The next morning I couldn't keep the damned thing down. Age 76 and horny as hell.
Almost daily. If I have the luxury that morning I'll jack it away, I usually wake up hard during sex dreams. So I'm already horny, already hard.....
I experience Morning Wood anytime during the day & night. If anyone can really relate to this, thanks for your support, but for those who only inn the morning, I'm sorry you only experience it in the morning.
