difficult situation that one is babysitting another's faith....but what I experienced is that a girl (just a friend) came to christ this summer, but now I have lost most contact with her, maybe an email once in a while, last time I saw her was 4 months ago....she made the choice for Jesus one day before I left on my jounrey to lithuania for almost a month, and there were no churchsermons then caus it was vacation....I saw her once after I came back but since then only some emails in which nothing was said. So I dunno what's up...I don't think it's a backslide (at least not total......but maybe partially backslide). Se never goes to church never meets other christians......so that's the other extreme, not babysitting anothers faith but kinda losing all contact.....
I got a Dutch translation of the Bhagavad Gita, but if you want to get a good English one I could recommend the translation by Van Buitenen.
Mark 15:2 "And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering said unto them, Thou sayest it."

‘Treat the other man's faith gently; it is all he has to believe with. His mind was created for his own thoughts, not yours or mine. ‘ Henry S. Haskins
John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
Luke 7:23 "And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me." The quote you posted, Burbot, is beautiful. I felt a lift in my spirits, and it comforted me. thank you John 1:1 'In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God.' I have read that this sentence is written in the Vedas, with Brahman instead of God being the sole difference. I cannot say that I have seen it myself, though, only read about it. It is a good description of the one dimensional singularity that I understand to be the theoretical state of the universe that scientists propose existed before the big bang.
Isaiah-40:31 "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Your welcome everyone...
Not sure how to take the comment that the verse you posted which is all about being comforted, and which comforted me, was unintentional. I would have guessed that the motive was to share that sentiment.
Well the motive was to share setiment, but i had no idea that it would have made much impact as to post a reply saying so...
thanks for clarifying that for me, I know what you mean. John 9 45 And because I tell you the truth, you believe me not. John 8 15 Ye judge after the flesh, I judge no man.
